The Internally Displaced Persons camp in Ewulu, an agrarian community in Aniocha South local government area of Delta state on Tuesday erupted with singing and dancing as the Labour Party candidate for Delta North Senatorial district, Barrister Kennedy Kanma visited the camp to present food items to the displaced persons.

Immediately his entourage hit the camp, women, youths and children ran towards him, singing songs indicating he is the only person they knew in the area. It was a beautiful sight to behold as the women and youths danced and sang from every part of the camp. Barrister Kennedy Kanma who never anticipated such rousy welcome felt elated at the sight of the dancing women.

Barrister Kanma who felt the pains of the people who were displaced by the flood, was in the camp to present food items to the people who had lost almost all their means of livelihood to the deadly flood which has claimed communities, lives and properties.

At the visit and presentation of food items, Barrister Kanma told the flood victims of the need to vote for the Labour Party as the only party with good plans for the emancipation of the Nigerian people. He explained that Nigerians have suffered enough and it’s time for their redemption.

In the visit which lasted for the entire day, Barrister Kanma visited the Labour Party secretariat in Ndokwa west where he was received by the party executives. At the party secretariat, he delivered food items to members who were affected by the flood.

At Isheagu, he visited the palace of the traditional ruler. He was received by president general of the community and chiefs who vowed to support the Labour Party to victory in the 2023 elections.

Barrister Kennedy Kanma, one of the leading candidates to represent Delta North in the national assembly has been in the forefront of championing the cause of Anioma people if the people cast their votes for him in the 2023 general elections.
