Celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, has reacted to Irish chef, Alan Fisher, emerging as the latest Guinness world records holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
According to The Nation, Guinness World Records on Tuesday, November 7, revealed that Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant owner and chef based in Japan, on Monday, November 6, broke two Guinness World Records relating to cooking marathons.
Fisher broke the previous record of 93 hours 11 minutes established earlier this year by the Nigerian chef, cooking nonstop for 119 hours and 57 minutes.
Reacting to Fisher’s success, Baci, who is the former record holder, congratulated him on her X page on Tuesday.
She wrote: “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!
