Former minister of state for education and Delta state governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, has alleged that Attorney General of Delta state, Mr. Peter Mrakpor, is responsible for the issue surrounding the four persons who were stripped naked in his hotel.
Gbagi, who had a press conference with journalists in his Oginibo country home in Ughelli South local government area of the state, told journalists that the issues were masterminded by Mrakpor to destroy his political ambition, seeing both of them are running for the 2023 governorship of Delta state.
Olorogun Gbagi and Mrakpor are both from Ughelli south local government area of the state. In the press conference which was attended by journalists across the state, Gbagi alleged that Mrakpor is afraid of his ambition, hence he reportedly paid people to destroy his ambition and run alone from the local government.
He told journalists that he has no hand in the persons stripped naked. He said they are not staff under his employment. He also said some of the persons and lawyers who wrote petition against him are begging him for money to drop the matter.
He said despite the heat the issue is generating across the state, he is not disturbed as the race is open to everyone but Mrakpor cannot match him as the battle hots up. Gbagi has been in the news within the last few days over four persons stripped naked in his hotel in Effurun Delta state.
