Okowa’s Aide Gordons resigns to pursue political ambition
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on peace and conflict resolution Olorogun Samson Gordons has resigned his appointment to pursue his political ambition.
Gordons tendered his resignation letter on Monday , 14 March , 2022.
The letter was addressed to the governor of Delta State Sen Ifeanyi Okowa through the office of the Secretary to the State Government.
In the resignation letter, Gordon’s thanked the state governor for the opportunity given to him to serve as Senior Special Assistant on peace and conflict resolution.
He commended the Governor for the developmental strides recorded in the past years.
Gordons noted that his resignation is as a result of his political ambition to represent the people of Ughelli South in the State House of Assembly.
