President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of London trained Energy Expert, Laurence Izegbu, as the executive Director Re-Integration, Presidential Amnesty Funds, Abuja.
Izegbu, a grassroot mobilizer and a consultant to Delta State government on local content agency, has vast knowledge in petroleum matters.
He was once appointed as an editorial consultant of Upstream Gaze, the official magazine of Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
Izegbu possesses a degree in Petroleum Management from University of Plymouth, United Kingdom, with certifications in Analytical Writing and Strategy Development.
Izegbu, a prolific social commentator and writer, also has qualifications in Strategic Management and analytical writing.
President Tinubu is known for his skill in assembling talents and people with intellectual prowess.
This appointment is a testament to Izegbu’s excellent performance at the Delta State Local Content Agency.
In his capacity as executive Director Re- integration, Izegbu is charged with the responsibility of calming the tensions in the Niger Delta region and also advising the government on how to curb the crude oil theft to boost oil output.
Those in the know disclosed that the appointment of Izuegbu would trigger a sharp progress by the ruling APC and possibly enhance their move to sweep all political positions in the next election.
