JUST IN: SDP floors PDP, APC, Labour Party, others in Gbagi’s 11 unit ward (Check the results)

The Social Democratic Party SDP on Saturday defeated the All Progressives Congress APC, the People’s Democratic Party PDP and the Labour Party in all the eleven units in Oginibo, Ughelli South local government area of Delta state.

Oginibo is the country home of the guber candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP, Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi in the March 11 governorship election. Deacon Ken Pela, governorship candidate of the Labour Party voted in the same unit where Gbagi voted during the presidential election.

While Gbagi, the former minister of state for education, had maintained that he was going to coast to victory in the elections, some mediocre said he (Gbagi) would not even win his poling unit, hence it is said that victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

Results collated from the just concluded presidential, Senate and House of Representatives elections, indicates that the SDP gubernatorial candidate, won with over 60 per cent of the total vote cast in Oginibo, Ughelli south local government area of the State.

The breakdown of the results shows that for Jeremi Ward II, Oginibo Town Hall, Oginibo II, for the House of Representatives, SDP pulled a total of 76 votes, PDP 44, LP, 27 while APC, scored 12 votes.

The result of the presidential election, SDP got 64 votes, LP 60, PDP got 28 while APC raked in 11 votes. Also, the senatorial election, SDP pulled a total of 82 votes, PDP 57, APC 23, APGA 3 while NNPP 3 votes.

At Ekrugbobaro polling unit, in the presidential election, APC 5, APGA 1, LP 40, PDP 5, SDP 93. For the House of Representatives, APC 26, APGA 10, LP 9, PDP 8, SDP 98. For Senatorial election, APC 26, PDP 7, SDP 101.

Similarly, at Oginibo/Bateren unit,
APC 30, PDP 30, SDP scored 56, while the House of Representatives candidate for APC scored 30, PDP 33, SDP, raked in 56 while for presidential election, LP 42, PDP 13, SDP 41 and APC 1.

In same vein, at Ogbe-Otu, Oginibo, the House of Representatives candidate for SDP pulled a total of 56 votes, APC 24, LP 12, PDP 47 while the presidential candidate got 54, APC 7, LP 36, PDP 40 and the senatorial counterpart, got scored 60, APC 26 and PDP 50.

In another development, at Oginibo Primary School, Oginibo II, the House of Representatives candidate for SDP pulled 54 votes,, APC 17, LP, PDP 12. The Senatorial candidate of SDP scored 63, APC 16, PDP 30 while the presidential candidates scored APC 6, LP 44, PDP 8, SDP 40 respectively.

At the polling unit in Oginibo Town Hall, Oginibo I, the presidential candidate of APC scored 11, LP 54, PDP 25, SDP 88, the House of Representatives candidate of SDP pulled 95, APC 27, LP 20 and PDP 31.

Other results are as follows: Oginibo Grammar School, Oginibo I, the senatorial candidates scored 46 for APC, APGA 2, PDP 34, SDP 64. House of representatives, APC 44, LP 10, PDP 27, SDP 51 while for presidential, APC 25, PDP 19, SDP 56 and LP 34.

At Edeki Hall Oginibo, for the presidential election LP 30, PDP 17
SDP, APC, while for the Senatorial, PDP 21 and DP 46. For the House of Representatives, APC 32, LP 12, PDP 16, SDP 22.

Others include, Ihwre-Eti, the presidential candidate of SDP got 22, APC 7, LP 39, PDP 7 and SDP 22, the SDP senatorial candidate pulled 29 votes, APC 18 and PDP 28 votes with the House of Representatives, scoring 31 votes,
APC 20, LP 11 and PDP 16.

At Oginibo Grammar School, Oginibo II, for the Senatorial election, APC 26, PDP 33, SDP 69 while for House of Representatives,
PDP 23, LP 18 and SDP 60. The presidential candidate of SDP got 59, APC 30, LP 41 and PDP 18.

Meanwhile, at Oginibo Primary School I, the House of Representatives candidate, is unclear, APC 16, LP 21, PDP 15. The presidential candidate got 5 votes, APC 9 and PDP 9 while for the Senatorial election, SDP scored a total of 63 votes, APC 9 and PDP 27 votes.
