The Lady who alighted from a cab and plunged into Lagos Lagoon on third mainland bridge, on Thursday, 10 November, has been identified.
Her name is Adetutu Adedokun, she is an operative of the Department of State Services (DSS). She is in her thirties.
As maintained by YabaLeftOnline.com, Adetutu got engaged to her fiancè few weeks ago. The video of the proposal has gone viral, following the unfortunate incident.
According to the cab driver, he claimed that the lady was having a heated argument with her fiancée before disembarking from his vehicle and jumped into the lagoon.
The state Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, sadly disclosed that the rescue team did not find her body on Thursday, but will resume the search today, 11 November.
“The rescue teams called off their search by 7pm because it was already dark. They will continue the search tomorrow (Friday); you know it is water, the wave would have taken the body somewhere else. But we will search everywhere,” he said.
