Social Democratic Party state executives visited Ethiope East local government, the visit started with a courtesy call to the palace of the Ovie of Agbon.
The courtesy visit to Hrm. Ogurimerime, Mike Omeru, the Ovie of Agbon was favorable to the governorship candidate Olorogun Barr Kenneth Gbagi as both parties shared their views on how to make Delta state great again.
The monarch praised the erudite business man for his continued investment in the state as it shows that Gbagi has a vested interest in the state and it’s development.
He said “If it were possible for me to call everybody out and tell them to vote for you, I would have done that, but issues of contest, is totally different from issuing a policy statement.
Other contestants have come and I have prayed for them and even the ones that have not.
I have confidence in his ability to be a good governor in Delta state if he wins, and I would like to appeal to him that if it is the will of God that he becomes the governor of Delta state, and the will of the people that he becomes governor, that he should not renege on his usual good disposition to good governance.
Because we know he has all it takes to be a good governor”.
In a show of good faith and to encourage familiar ties, HRM Ogurimerime, Mike Omeru, bestowed chieftaincy titles on Prof Jiff Mokobia the DG of SDP campaigns, and Prof Atubi a son of the soil. He termed it a Royal pronunciation that will be actualized during the celebration of his third year of coronation.
The campaign train visited the market and streets of Isiokolo and it’s environs, marketing the liberation mandate.
The transporters in Ethiope East were not left out of the philanthropic gesture as Gbagi fuels okada’s in the area.
