A man identified as Potable was Sunday afternoon, arrested for stabbing his best friend, Amos Ayoola Ajayi to death at a beer parlour joint in Irona area of Ado Ekiti over the sum of thirty naira.
It was gathered that a misunderstanding ensured between Potable and Ajayi over the sum of thirty naira.
After the argument was resolved, Ajayi took his seat to continue with his beer unknown to him, his friend had another plan.
Potable suddenly broke a bottle with which he stabbed him in several places, including his neck.
Sadly, Ajayi gave up the ghost after he was rushed to the hospital.
The suspect was arrested by the police.
Meanwhile, the state police spokesperson, ASP Sunday Abutu, is yet to comment on the sad incident.
