Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has said that Christians have no reason to seek divorce or separate from their matrimonial homes.
Pastor Kumuyi, during a Monday Bible Study transmitted from Akure, the Ondo state capital, told Christians that no man has right to alter what God has created nor separate what God has joined together.
He said in the beginning when Eve caused oroblem for the family of Adam, the man did not put her away, not even when God drove them from the garden of Eden.
He said Adam would have given reasons to have her sent away from the home, rather they both managed the situation together.
He agreed that Eve did not do well for allowing the devil to penetrate the home , thereby leading the home into trouble but it did not lead to disintegration, divorce.
Pastor Kumuyi told the congregation that no matter the problem in the marriage, God is never a party to dissolution of a union he instituted.
He also warned Christians against attempting to improve on the creation of God. He frowned against persons who apply their intelligence and knowledge to alter the creation of God.
The holiness preacher also advised women against marrying two husbands and men against marrying two wives. He said it is wrong, unnbibllical and punishable by God.
