A Delta State-born development and environmental justice advocate Comrade (Chief) Mulade Sheriff has congratulated His Excellency (Rt. Hon.) Sheriff Oborevwori for his successful swearing in as executive governor of Delta State.
While describing the swearing in of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as the Executive Governor of oil-rich Delta State, a well deserved one, Chief Mulade called on all Deltans to strongly support the new administration for a better Delta, just as he implored other residents of the state to work with the Governor to achieve his MORE Agenda for the good of the people.
He described the new governor, who was elected on May 18th, 2023, as a man with excessive local content and street credibility and a grassroot politician with community-based knowledge for development.
Chief Mulade, who is the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of the State, and a former PDP governorship aspirant, urged all citizens to give maximum support and cooperate with Governor Oborevwori for a better and safer Delta State.
Importantly, he charged the governor to run an all-inclusive government in order to sustain the existing peace and attract development to the state, irrespective of ethnic, political, or religious affiliations.
In Mulade’s words; “it is imperative to state that the elections have come and gone; now is the time to build bridges of reconciliation with all aggrieved persons in the state and to focus on good governance for the prosperous Delta State of our dreams”.
