Renowned Niger Delta leader and advocate, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late foremost Niger Delta leader, Chief E.K. Clark, describing him as a voice for truth, the oppressed, and a fearless advocate for the development of the Niger Delta region.
Mulade said that Clark’s passing is a “big blow” and a painful loss, leaving behind a huge void that will be difficult to fill. He emphasized that Clark’s wealth of experience remains essential and greatly needed, especially in the current times.
An environmentalist and the Ibe-Serimowei of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Mulade reflected on Clark’s remarkable contributions to the nation, particularly in the Niger Delta Region. He noted that the late leader’s legacy would not be forgotten anytime soon.
Describing him as a “fountain of knowledge” and a dynamic leader, Mulade expressed that Clark’s absence will be deeply felt across the region and the nation as a whole.
On behalf of his family, Mulade extended his heartfelt condolences to Clark’s immediate family, the people of Delta State, and all of his loved ones, acknowledging that the late leader lived a fulfilled life.
Mulade concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of Clark’s soul, wishing that his gentle spirit rest in perfect peace.
