New chapter for Delta North as Nwoko officially assumes office

Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, having been officially inaugurated as senator representing Delta North senatorial district, on June 13, alongside 108 other senators has officially assumed office.

It is expected that Nwoko, who previously served as a member of the House of Representatives, will bring a wealth of experience and a strong vision for the progress of his constituency.

During his campaign, Senator Nwoko captured the attention of voters with his promises to prioritize the well-being of Nigerian youths and address the marginalized communities within his constituency.

A key component of his agenda is the introduction of a groundbreaking bill that aims to provide a N50 million grant to each group of one million youths annually. This financial support will be directed towards empowering young entrepreneurs who have existing businesses, with the condition that they must be able to employ at least five more young individuals. This ambitious proposal seeks to create a ripple effect of job opportunities and economic growth among the nation’s youth.

Moreover, Senator Nwoko has pledged to tackle the issue of marginalization faced by the local government areas within his constituency, particularly those that produce the most oil in Nigeria, the Ndokwa nation.

Citing insufficient attention from the federal government and the oil companies operating in the region, he has vowed to use his legal expertise to fight for the rights of these communities. If necessary, he is prepared to take legal action against those who operate with impunity, ultimately seeking justice and fair treatment for his constituents.

Recognizing the untapped potential of Nigeria as a tourist destination, Senator Nwoko has engaged in fruitful discussions with the African Tourism Board. He envisions leveraging the country’s abundant green vegetation and favorable weather to attract tourists from around the globe. By prioritizing tourism development, he aims to not only showcase Nigeria’s natural beauty but also stimulate economic growth and job creation within the sector.

Responding to Newsmen at the National Assembly, he reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with fellow representatives, transcending party affiliations, to achieve the best outcomes for Nigerian youths and the overall development of the nation.

As Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko embarks on his new role, the nation eagerly awaits the fulfillment of his promises and the positive impact he intends to make within the Senate. His dedication to empowering the youth, advocating for marginalized communities, and promoting Nigeria’s tourism potential sets the stage for an exciting chapter in Delta North’s representation at the highest legislative level.

With such ambitious plans, Senator Nwoko’s tenure promises to be a period of transformative change, generating opportunities and striving for a more prosperous and inclusive future for his constituents and the nation as a whole.
