BY AUSTIN OYIBODE, BENIN CITY

Pastor William Kumuyi, the general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has said that tests and challenges come to Christians so that believers would have testimonies to glorify God.

Speaking on “The Prayer That Makes Everyone’s Bounds Loose,” Pastor Kumuyi insisted that the death of Christ was aimed at breaking the bonds and liberating Christians to enjoy the victory Christ obtained for believers on the cross of calvary.

The convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi spoke on the fifth day of the ongoing global crusade in Benin City with Speaker of the Edo state house of assembly, Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, some members of the state house of assembly and judges of the state high court in attendance.

What Governor Oborevwori told Pastor Kumuyi at global crusade in Warri

The international evangelist noted that God is interested in turning people’s sorrows to gladness, sadness to happiness and gloominess to glory. The cleric encouraged the large crowd which gathered at the Garrick Memorial Grammar School in Benin City to believe that no problem on earth is beyond the power of God.

“All the problems in your life will be blown away. The foundation of where your burdens come from will be rooted out. All doors will be opened. It is not tomorrow, it is now,” Pastor Kumuyi told participants at the crusade ground.

He continued: “You cannot carry sickness from the crusade ground. Your brain, eyes, ears and feet will be loosed. The enemy will respect you because a greater power will set you free. God said I should tell you that your chains are broken and your sicknesses are gone.”

The global crusade which started on Thursday, October 26, 2023 will be rounding off today, Tuesday October 31. Since Thursday last week participants have been receiving the outpouring of God’s goodness and mercies upon their lives.

Sins have been forgiven, dashed dreams have been restored. Sicknesses have been healed, diverse miracles have been received. People on wheelchairs have risen and joy has been restored to battered homes and lives.

Testimonies have poured in from all over the globe, testifying to God’s faithfulness and wonders. There have been healing of sicknesses and diseases across the globe. Truly, Pastor Kumuyi’s crusades will be leaving indelible marks in the lives of Benin people
