The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu monitored the ongoing search and rescue (SAR) at the Ikoyi building collapse site in the early hours of Wednesday.
With him was the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, and some state officials.
The governor commended all responders for efforts so far and made suggestions on what could be done as the operation enters Day 3.
Official figures stands at 14 casualties and 9 injured persons receiving medical care at a hospital.
The 21-storey building under construction at No. 20 Gerrard Road, subsided at about 2:45 p.m. on Monday, on Tuesday, The Governor suspended, Gbolahan Oki, The General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA).
The government announced that a panel of experts to investigate the tragedy would be constituted soon.
