Senator Nwaoboshi Defects To APC, Delta PDP Vindicated
#eacgovdelta
Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, has finally pitch tent with the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday 25th June, 2021, and was received by President Muhammadu Buhari, and his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, at the State House.
Nwaoboshi, was presented to Mr President by his political associate and likely 2023 Governorship candidate of the party in Delta State, Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo Agege, who was alleged to have reserved the deputy governorship slot for Nwaoboshi.
Eacgovdelta reliably gathered that Nwaoboshi, is not alone in this game, but the Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa led Delta PDP is equal to the task ahead.
While suspending Nwaoboshi, over anti party activities for a period of one month, Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, alleged that the Senator representing the good people of Delta North Senatorial District at the Red Chambers, have been negotiating his exit from the party, in what it called “romancing with the opposition” in the past two years.
Nwaoboshi defection to APC was therefore not a surprise, and Delta PDP has been clearly vindicated.
NIGHT BIRDS hovering around APC caucus, reliably reported that the stage will soon be set for further political realignments that will herald the full commencement of 2023 governorship politics in the state.
It will be recalled that Okowa’s EAC and political prophet, Olorogun Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, raised alarm over foreseeable betrayal within the party, and subsequently urged his boss, Gov Okowa to activate his political antenna; so as to avert the “Ides of March” as we navigate into the deep aspect of 2023 governorship politics in Delta State.
PDP Delta is yet to officially react to Nwaoboshi’s defection to APC.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed as events unfolds.
As for me, I stand with Okowa till May 29, 2023 and beyond.
