A yet-to-be-identified young man was killed during a cult clash in the Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to PUNCH, the lifeless body of the man was recovered on Saturday from a pathway in Essi Layout.
Sources told the publication that he was discovered in a pool of blood with machete cuts on his forehead and arms.
Before he was found dead, several shots had rented the air in the vicinity the previous night as the suspected cultists engaged in a supremacy battle.
Confirming the sad incident, a State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, said, “It was a cult clash.”
