A twitter user, one Adetutu Balogun MBA, has twitted that Governor Godwin Obaseki has said that the national chairman of the All Progressives Party (APC) and any busy body governor that steps into Edo state for the APC gubernatorial primaries will be quarantined.
According to Balogun, Obaseki said there is interstate movement restriction, so everyone should stay in their respective bases. He added that Oshiomhole should stay in Abuja to avoid being quarantined by the Edo state COVID-19 task force.
Balogun with the twitter name @Tutsy22 said the governor insisted that there is also ban of not more than 20 persons per gathering so APC should adhere to this in respect to their intended primaries and campaigns.
Balogun twitted thus: “Obaseki has vowed to quarantine any busy body Governor that steps into Edo State for APC Gubernatorial Pry Election. According to him, there’s no interstate movement so everyone should stay in his or her base. He said Oshio should also stay in Abuja to avoid being quarantined.
“He maintained that, there’s also ban of not more than 20 persons per gathering so APC should adhere to this in respect to their intended primaries and campaigns.”
This is the beginning of trouble for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state. This is one big reason why it may be difficult for APC to win the Edo governorship election.
