Speaking to newsmen in Asaba, Delta state, Mr Bayoko while wishing him happy birthday, said “at 94 years, Chief Senator Clark’s exemplary patriotism and interest in Nigeria’s growth glows as he continues to champion peaceful co-existence among the diverse groups in Nigeria”.
The Delta State HoS stated that “in life–public and private, Pa Clark has demonstrated, beyond the reach of words his undying commitment to the growth and development of the Nigerian nation by consistently speaking truth to power”.
According to him, Chief Clark’s contributions to the advancement of education when he served as Commissioner for Education several decades ago in the defunct Bendel State, remains indelible and appreciated.
“I pray for God to continue to enrich him with good health, wisdom and longer life as he altruistically strives with other selfless compatriots to build a progressive Niger Delta and equitable Nigeria where our cultural and other differences are rather valuable assets in bonding an inviolable brotherhood for a forward moving nation”, Bayoko said.
