The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko has received the prestigious Topflyers Magazine International Award as the Most Effective Government Appointee of the Year 2022.
This Award is coming at a time the Governor Okowa led Government of Delta State is winding down, but with so much to desire after a long and painstaking evaluation of functionaries who have contributed in no small measure to making governance and administration under review impeccable and effective.
The Topflyers Magazine International is an Abuja based media outfit that publishes quarterly but takes delight in evaluating performances of hardworking Africans and Nigerians in particular for the purposes of celebrating their achievements and motivating them with honours.
In the past decade, the Magazine had blazed the trail in media pragmatism with very rich 100 pages of glossy pictures and scintillating stories couched with the best creative art and indomitable enterprising spirit.
The Magazine has created a niche for itself as a platform for the celebration of human and innovative successes, including the promotion of mentorship with some of its awardees being in the number of African bests like President Goodluck Jonathan, Governors, Ministers, members of the National Assembly, highflyer business moguls and talented entertainment icons to mention but a few.
Dr Michael Nwoko coming in line of the retinue of awardees so far honoured by this renowned media organisation, is a testament to his high profiled commitment and dedication to the SMART Agenda of Senator Okowa led administration.
Over the years, he has become a cynosure of all eyes in the Government just by diligently discharging his duties as the SSA to the Governor on Health Monitoring and Coordinator of the Delta State Health Monitoring Team.
A few opinions sampled to further probe the award on the basis of merit, attested to the fact that it was well deserved.
However, in place of any criticism, it has been accolades all along, with commendations to the Topflyers Magazine International for doing due diligence on integrity search which has eventually produced this Award on Dr Nwoko, based on meritocracy.
