A report published by Daily Post online is to the effect that members of the #ENDSARS protesters were seen exchanging fisticuffs over some funds made available to them by the Delta state government.
According to the report, members of the team stormed Delta government hous to register their grievance were some given some money by the governor, the sharing pattern led to heavy fight among the people.
The report said the police around did not not render any help but reportedly looked away and allowed the youths to fight themselves over the money. The police apparently may not be happy over the decision of the youths against their colleagues in the defunct SARS unit.
Daily Post reports that one of the youths reportedly scaled the fence, having grabbed a good chunk of the money and made away with it.
Nigerian youths have been engaging in serious protests over one week now, demanding for scrapping of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad unit of the Nigerian police force. And in speedy response, the IGP bowed to the needs of the youths and summarily disbanded the sector. But Nigerians are still protesting, calling for overhaul reformation and scrapping of the new unit being created by the IGP.
This is the first time Nigerian government has listened to the voice and did the will of the people without hesitation.
