President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar were seen together during the Jummah prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja on Friday.
Both leaders exchanged warm pleasantries and participated in the Friday prayers alongside a congregation of faithful.
Also present at the prayers were the governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed and the All Progressives Congress national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Ali Modu Sheriff, a former governor of Borno and senator representing the southern senatorial district of the state, Mohammed Ali Ndume, were also at the prayers.
While the two have had a history marked by rivalry, particularly during the recent presidential elections, the recent encounter holds no political undertone as it was a routine exchange of pleasantries by the duo
