The Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi has continued to gain more endorsements from celebrities, as they openly announce their supports for him, following the presidential debate held at Arise News presidential Town Hall, on Sunday, 6 November.
Netizens, including celebrities attacked the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for not attending the debate but rather sent representatives.
One of the celebrities who did not hesitate to condemn Atiku and Tinubu’s absence in the debate is Frank Edwards, a singer and founder of Rocktown Records.
The afro-highlife praise and worship singer stated that if the presidential candidates can dodge such events at this time, then there is no need supporting them.
He wrote, “At this point clearly and carefully I will vote Peter Obi. . . No matter what happens at least I’ll be sure I tried to put my thumb of support in salvaging NG. . If at this point ppl are already dodging events! What are we still talking about!!! Abeg Abeg !”
