Months after faulting the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, presidential ambition and rubbishing his performance as a governor in Anambra state, Charles Soludo, the sitting governor of Anambra state, has made a U-turn to say that Peter Obi might win in Anambra state in the forthcoming presidential election.
According to Daily Post, the former Central Bank Governor, asserted Obi’s possibility victory in Anambra state, while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, on Thursday, 19 January, 2023.
Referring to the piece which literally set the Internet ablaze, where he said that Obi’s achievements as a governor in Anambra state, were relatively nothing, Soludo said, “In that piece, I even considered that Peter Obi might win in Anambra State. I did mentioned that.”
Soludo added, “I wish Peter Obi the best of luck. Let him go and compete as others.”
He, however, doubted the chances of Obi winning the overall election.
