A candidate in the 2019 Nigerian general election, Omoyele Sowore has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari has already informed Vice-President Professor Yemi Osinbajo that he would hand over power to him in 2023.

According to Sowore via his verified Facebook page on Monday, Buhari is “deceiving” Prof. Osinbajo.

The activist attacked Osinbajo, describing him as “dangerous as his principal”.

Sowore’s latest outburst was as a result of a recent statement credited to Osinbajo where the former Lagos state commissioner of justice praised his boss Buhari. Osinbajo declared that Buhari is ‘Nigeria’s most popular politician in generations’. Sowore, in his typical way, slammed the current administration for this.

“I’ve said it several times that Professor Yemi Osinbajo is as dangerous as his principal, Muhammadu Buhari!” Sowore wrote.

“They plot all the evils afflicting this country together.

“He’s in on every action of the regime. Because Muhammadu Buhari’s deceiving the Bozo that he plans to hand over power to him, he’s blabbing up and down. Buhari remains one of Nigeria’s most unpopular rulers ever! Buhari has no iota of credibility both as a human being or a “leader” Shame on miniman Osinbajo.”
