Picture of the said hairstyle of the JSS 1 student who sued the Ekiti state government for N15m in damages for breach of her fundamental rights after being flogged in school.
She was said to have come to school with indecent hairdo which violates the rules and regulations of the school. Her school name is Mary Immaculate Secondary school, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state.
She is suing the government for breach of her fundamental human rights. She was suspended for her indiscipline and thereafter, her parents reportedly assaulted some of the school teachers.
She described as cruel and inhuman, the alleged treatment meted to her for coming to school with the indecent hairstyle.
The plaintiff claimed that the beating she got that day resulted in bruises, life-threatening scars and bloodstains on her uniform, adding that she fainted and was rushed to the police clinic in Ado Ekiti, where she was resuscitated
