Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has extended warm felicitations to Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and current representative of Delta State on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message on Sunday, Senator Dafinone described Igbuya as a patriotic son of Delta State, a grassroots mobiliser, and a consistent advocate for development in the Niger Delta.
“Rt. Hon. Igbuya has distinguished himself in public service. His wealth of experience and contributions to legislative governance remain commendable and continue to inspire young leaders,” the statement read.
The Senator further praised Igbuya’s role at the NDDC, noting that his “dedication and vision have continued to drive infrastructural growth and human capital development in the region.”
Dafinone prayed for God’s blessings upon the celebrant, wishing him good health, wisdom, and renewed strength to continue his service to Delta State, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria.
Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya served as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly before his appointment to the NDDC Board, where he represents Delta State.
