Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has congratulated Sir Victor Akpoguma on his conferment with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
In a statement on Tuesday, Dafinone described Akpoguma’s elevation as a “well-deserved recognition” of his distinguished legal career spanning over three decades.
“Since the establishment of your law firm, V.E. Akpoguma & Co., in 1999, you have consistently demonstrated excellence in diverse areas of legal practice and contributed meaningfully to the advancement of justice in our country,” the senator said.
He noted that Akpoguma’s achievement was not only a personal milestone but also a source of pride for the Urhobo Nation, Delta State, and Nigeria at large.
“As an illustrious son of the Urhobo Nation from Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area, your elevation brings immense pride not only to your family and community but also to the entire Urhobo Nation and Delta State,” Dafinone added.
The senator prayed for God’s continued guidance and strength for the new Senior Advocate as he takes on greater responsibilities in the service of humanity and the nation.
The title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is the highest rank in the Nigerian legal profession, reserved for legal practitioners who have distinguished themselves through excellence, integrity, and contributions to the development of the law.
