Senator Ned Nwoko extends congratulations to Governor Oborevwori on supreme court victory

The distinguished senator representing Delta North senatorial district, Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, has congratulated His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his triumph at the Supreme Court. The victory marks the final resolution of all litigations challenging Governor Oborevwori’s election as the Executive Governor of Delta State.

In the statement released by the lawmaker’s media office on Friday, he noted that despite facing legal challenges, Governor Oborevwori’s focus on governance remained steadfast, reflecting his dedication to serving the people.

“Your unwavering commitment to service, coupled with the undeniable support of the people, has triumphed over legal challenges.

“Despite undeserved legal hurdles, your dedication to governance prevailed. Your landslide victory reflects the trust the people have placed in your leadership, and your accomplishments so far are commendable. I am confident that this final legal confirmation will inspire even greater achievements”, the statement read.

Senator Nwoko praised the judiciary for its unwavering commitment and consistency, applauding the Apex Court’s confirmation of Governor Oborevwori’s win in the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election.

“I commend the judiciary for its steadfastness, from the State’s Election Tribunal to the Apex Court, ensuring a fair and just resolution.”
