American rapper, Kanye West has insisted that he is still married to Kim Kardashian in spite of her being linked to comedian, Pete Davidson.
Recall that Kim and Kanye were married for nearly seven years. Their marriage was blessed with four kids together: North, eight, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two.
In February, Kim filed for divorce which started the process of ending their marriage.
While the divorce process is ongoing, Kim and Kanye agreed on joint custody of their four young children after divorce and since the divorce process started, the couple has been seen together and this has left fans wondering if they are still together.
Recently, Kim has been romantically linked with Saturday Night Live comedian, Pete Davidson.
The 41-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was spotted going to dinner with the 27-year-old for the “second night in a row” this week.
Since they have been spotted together, fans question if Kim is really dating Pete or still with Kanye.
Now, Kanye West has opened up on his life, notably his impending divorce from the mother of his kids.
Speaking on an upcoming Drink Champs podcast, Kanye west repeatedly called Kim Kardashian, his “wife” as he reflected on their separation.
He debunked report that they are “divorced,” saying;
“We’re not even divorced.
This ain’t no joke to me.
My kids want their parents to stay together.
I want us to be together.”
Going further, the rapper claimed that the entertainment industry and media is against them as a couple. He said;
“If you look at the media, that’s not what they’re promoting.
“That’s not what they want.
“They want it to be a new episode, a new TV show.
“And then they have people all around in my wife’s ear.”
Slamming Kim’s publicist for encouraging their split, Kanye said: “I don’t f**k with her.”
Referring to Kim as his wife earlier in the interview, the singer discussed her influence on beauty standards.
He said;
“My wife changed the idea of beauty.
White girls made fun of her for her ass and now white girls go and get ass.”
