The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has won Surulere, ward 08, polling unit 014 of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila for the presidential elections to the chagrin of many.
The Speaker, who is a strong ally to the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was expected to rally support leading to a win for his party’s candidate.
The Labour Party garnered 89 votes being the highest in the unit while the All Progressive Congress swayed in 69 votes.
