The former minister of Culture and Tourism and the present director of media and special duties of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode has asserted that the present-day APC is not the same with the APC of the past, stressing that the demons in old APC have all relocated to present People’s DemocraticParty (PDP).
As reported by Vanguard, The former Minister made the assertion while speaking in an interview on Monday with Politics Today on Channels TV.
Fani-Kayode said, “The APC of the past is not the APC of today…The demons that were in the APC at that time have simply relocated and gone into the PDP”.
“My views were my views then and things changed when a new leadership came into the party, a leadership that is responsible and sensitive to the feelings of people”.
The APC chieftain stated that the reason he left PDP was because the party became the monster he assumed APC was.
He maintained that the demons in APC moved to PDP immediately he joined APC in September 2021.
Recall that Fani-Kayode was the director of media and publicity for PDP’s presidential organisation in 2015, when the then President Goodluck Jonathan attempted re-election but lost to APC Muhammadu Buhari.
Fani-Kayode assured that Bola Tinubu, APC presidential candidate will do well in the areas Buhari has not done well.
