Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Switch has reacted to the Lagos Panel of Inquiry’s report on the Lekki Tollgate which indicted Nigerian forces.
Recall that the disc jockey was one of the people that exposed the killing of many EndSARS protesters on October 20, 2020.
She live-streamed the shooting of protesters in the Lekki Tollgate by the Nigerian army.
However, she have to travel out of Nigeria and go into hiding after her life was threatened.
Well, one year later she has been vindicated.
It was gathered that the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on EndSARS, in its 309-page report submitted to Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, referred to the Lekki Tollgate shooting of dissidents on October 20, 2020, as “manslaughter”.
The panel indicted officers and Nigerian security agents in the killing and forced disappearances of unarmed youths protesting at the Lekki Tollgate.
Reacting to this via her Twitter page, DJ Switch stated that the Nigerian Government shattered so many lives and tried to destroy her just to hide the truth only for the truth to be revealed by them.
In her words;
”Shattered so many lives, tried to destroy mine. Only for what you desperately tried to hide to be made public… by you! The truth needs no defense! #EndSARS.”
