Marriage they say is not a bed of roses as a couple has concluded arrangements to divorce after nine months of their marriage.
An eye witness said that the woman, Ifeoma Joel sued to divorce her husband saying that he transferred a sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) staphylococcus to her.
Our source said that Ifeoma also complained bitterly that her husband knew that he has an untreated STD and went ahead to marry her without letting her know his health challenge.
The source said that it was after two months of their marriage that the woman noticed a change in her body system which she said subjected her to pains.
Emerald News gathered that the woman who lives in the Northern part of the country with her husband also accused her husband of abuse as he always beat her at every provocation.
This online medium gathered that when the family members came into the matter to salvage the marriage from breaking up, Ifeoma insisted on divorce as she also accused her husband of being a lazy man who cannot take care of his wife.
Our source told Emerald News that the court has accepted the woman’s request and will nullify the marriage when the official time comes.
Emerald News learnt that the couple married sometime last year and the marriage is yet to produce a baby.
