The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13, Ukpo, Anambra state, Mr. Muhammed Danmallam has assured members of the public that the zone will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the area remains safe.
Reacting to the gruesome murder of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Security, Mr. Azubuike Ekwegbalu in his residence by unknown persons, Mr. Danmallam said efforts were on to fish out those behind the wicked act.
According to him, the police are already on top of the situation and would go to any length including using forensic detective laboratory to nose out the perpetrators.
On the increase in cult activities in Anambra state, the AIG warned that no one including their sponsors would be spared once apprehended.
Mr. Danllam urged members of the public not to be scared over the
development as security agencies had already swung into action in order to guarantee safety of lives and property of residents of Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States.
