A Nigerian man identified as Sylvester Folorunsho has been arrested for allegedly strangling his girlfriend, Ashulee Winnie Bahago to death for receiving a phone call from her ex-boyfriend in Kaduna state.
The sad story was shared on Facebook by the deceased’s cousin named Benjamin Emily Charles
While demanding justice for his cousin, Benjamin alleged that his cousin had gone to visit her boyfriend at his place.
According to her, during the visit, she received a call from her ex-boyfriend.
This infuriated the man as he ended up beating and then strangling the girlfriend to death.
Crying out for justice, the grieving man wrote;
“THE BASTARD THAT KILLED MY COUSIN SISTER HERE IN U/BORO, OH…! WINNIE(ASHULI)…! RIP. When she went to his house, and a call from her Ex-boyfriend came into her phone.
And that create a quarrel where he slapped her and She slapped back, and said she will leave his house and never come back again, so he blocked his door that she will not leave and then she began struggling to wanted going home, and their he started beating her, till he strangled her to death.

My entire family are in pains now
This monster shouldn’t go free
God bless the humble soul of our beloved sister

Benjamin says the suspect is now in police custody.
Meanwhile, Kaduna state police are yet to comment on the incident.
