Farida Fasasi, the widow of late Nigerian legendary singer, Sound Sultan has celebrated his posthumous birthday today, 27th November 2021.
It would be recalled that the 44-year-old singer died on Sunday 11th July 2021 in the United States of America.
The music star who died of Angioimmunoblastic T- Cell Lymphoma (a form of throat cancer), was buried a few hours later according to Muslim’s rites.
Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate her late husband on his supposed 45th birthday, Farida Fasasi posted a throwback video as she showered encomium on Sound Sultan.
The mother of three wrote;
“Olanrewaju Fasasi “Oko Farida”…
I miss your cheeky gap-toothed smile…
I miss your jokes…
I miss waking up to guitar strings…
Even more, I miss our inside jokes…
It’s your birthday today. I’ll forever celebrate all that you’ve been to me. I love you, forever and always ❤ 🕊lnna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi rajiun”.
