The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has asserted that women are far more committed and trustworthy when it comes to doing work more satisfactorily.
Obi made this assertion on Tuesday, 25 October, as he addressed the Voice of Women (VOW) 2022 conference at the NAF conference centre, Abuja.
He said that the VOW2022 Conference and Awards is timely for an agenda to be set towards having an inclusive and accountable Nigeria from 2023.
The Labour Party flag bearer said he had 40% women in his cabinet in Anambra state when he was the state governor because he had found out that women were far more committed and trustworthy.
“When you need a work done and done satisfactorily, get a woman to do it and you will not be disappointed”, he said.
“I am committed to making sure that I will carry women along, bring them to the leadership table where decisions are being made, and also allowing them to utilize their potentials for the betterment of Nigeria”, Obi pledged.
While commiserating with Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire ministry, over recent attack by gunmen, Obi restated his commitment of fighting against insecurity as his number one priority in governance when voted into power.
He sympathised with the families that lost their loved ones during the attack and called on security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the attack and bring them to book.
