Nigerian Christians have roundly rejected emergence of Bishop Isaac Idahosa as running mate to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP). The news broke out on Thursday morning that Kwankwaso has picked the Lagos based preacher but Edo indigene as his running mate.
But emerging facts have revealed that Nigerian Christians have zeroed their minds on Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. Findings show that the selection of Bishop Idahosa is a ploy to divide the votes of the Christian community for the Labour Party candidate.
Many said they have already chosen their candidate, hence any attempt to change their minds with whatever means will not succeed. Some are of the belief that Kwakwaso is working for APC candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He had earlier said that if he cannot secure the presidency, he would work for Tinubu to win.
