Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta state, Comrade Friday Ovoke Warri, has admonished the newly sworn-in secretary to the local government, Zion Osuofa and the supervising councillor representing Aviara ward 03, Mrs. Beauty Omu, as well as other appointees to take their appointment as a call to service to the people of Isoko South.

Comrade Warri while giving the admonition Tuesday in his office in Oleh during the swearing in of Osuofa as secretary to the local government and Mrs. Omu as supervising councillor representing Aviara ward 03, noted that his ‘Warri for Your Worries’ agenda has now fully taken off even as he pledged to optimize efforts in elevating the living standards of the people and equitable distribution of democratic benefits.

The council chairman however made it clear that he will not renege on his campaign promises to the people of Isoko South as his administration will continue to be gender friendly and cautioned the newly sworn-in secretary to the local government to foster harmonious relations between career officers and political appointees within the council.

Warri particularly urged the secretary to the local government and other members of his cabinet to promote peaceful co-existence, unity and love among themselves and work as a one formidable team aimed at achieving his ‘Warri For Your Worries’ agenda and ‘MORE’ agenda of governor Sheriff Oborevwori and used the opportunity to express gratitude to the Delta State house of Assembly members led by the speaker, Guwor Emomotimi for prompt screening and confirmation of Osuofa as secretary to the Isoko South local government.

The Vice Chairman of the council, Theresa Ikrike, leader of the legislative arm, Friday Olokor, special adviser to the council chairman, Efe Philip Okolosi-Ozoro, Head of Personnel Management (HPM) Mrs. Iroro Mary Ofogbo, Isoko South PDP chairman, Victor Ekelegha, Delta state Assistant youth leader, Felix Aluta and Immediate past Isoko South PDP chairman, Godspower Obaro.
