The Mayor of Urhoboland and former militant leader, Eshanekpe Israel, also known as Akpodoro, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chief Ayiri Emami on the occasion of his 50th birthday. In a glowing tribute, the Mayor described the High Chief of the Itsekiri Kingdom as a rare gift to humanity and a shining example for the younger generation.
In his message to the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Mayor Akpodoro praised Chief Emami’s consistent dedication to human development and community upliftment. He noted that Emami has played a vital role in advancing the Itsekiri people, helping to transition them from traditional limitations into modernity.
“Chief Emami is a true figure of 21st-century progress,” Akpodoro said. “He has inspired countless youths across the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole through hard work, charisma, and compassion.”
At 50, the Mayor emphasized, Chief Emami remains a prominent voice and unrelenting philanthropist whose influence extends across social and political spheres.
“He is a builder of lives and a pillar of hope for our people. I pray that God continues to bless and protect him with wisdom and understanding as he climbs further on the ladder of life.”
Akpodoro also praised the Emami family, especially Chief Emami’s immediate relatives, for nurturing a man he called a “colossus,” a top-tier industrialist and a power broker in the Niger Delta and beyond.
According to him, Emami’s life is defined by love for humanity and a commitment to social progress.
“As I celebrate my friend and brother today, I wish him more greatness, long life, prosperity, and good health,” the Mayor added.
“He has made significant contributions to national development and positively influenced government policies in Delta State for the benefit of the masses.”
“Chief Emami is a beacon of hope for the Niger Delta youth and a man with an untainted legacy of excellence. I congratulate him and wish him many more joyful returns,” Akpodoro concluded.
