The Youth Structure for Asiwaju (YS4A), also known as the Asiwaju Boys/Girls, has intensified efforts to strengthen collaboration with youth-focused political groups and government institutions as part of broader plans to empower Nigerian youths and deepen their participation in national development.
The Convener and National Coordinator of YS4A, Dr. Michael Nwoko, disclosed this following a series of engagements in Abuja with key stakeholders, including Seyi Tinubu and leaders of the City Boy Movement.
According to Nwoko, discussions with Seyi Tinubu focused on fostering effective collaboration between YS4A and the City Boy Movement in order to strengthen youth mobilization and advance the political engagement of young Nigerians.
“It was an honor meeting with Seyi Tinubu.
Our discussions centered on effective collaboration between the Youth Structure for Asiwaju (YS4A), also known as Asiwaju Boys/Girls, and the City Boy Movement,” Nwoko stated.
Earlier in the week, the YS4A convener also held what he described as a “fruitful and instructive” meeting with the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, on March 3.
The engagement, he said, focused on advancing the objectives of the youth support group and exploring ways to expand opportunities for Nigerian youths.
Nwoko expressed optimism that collaboration with the Ministry would support sustainable youth empowerment initiatives and encourage greater political participation among young Nigerians.
“We look forward to a sustainable collaboration that will engender unprecedented empowerment of Nigerian youths as well as their active participation in political activities and support for the Renewed Hope Initiative,” he said, referencing the agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In another engagement, Nwoko met with the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Shoga Francis, to further consolidate cooperation between both groups. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of YS4A, Shamsu Bello.
The discussions, according to Nwoko, centered on strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and supporting youth-driven political initiatives across the country.
YS4A, a youth mobilization platform aligned with the political ideology of President Tinubu, continues to promote the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda while advocating for greater youth inclusion in governance and leadership.
The meetings form part of ongoing consultations aimed at building stronger partnerships among youth organizations to drive political participation and empowerment initiatives nationwide.
