The Delta born Political Oshobe and immediate past SSA to the Immediate Past Governor of Delta State on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko has penned down a heartfelt congratulatory message to his brother and mentor, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, describing his inauguration as a dream come through.
Dr. Nwoko in a statement in Abuja, wished Prince Ned Nwoko a fulfilling voyage in the Senate, maintaining that though the National Assembly is not an unfamiliar terrain to him, he has greater opportunity now to achieve much more for the good people of Delta North Senatorial District and by extension Nigeria.
The Political Oshobe affirmed that Ned Nwoko had always desired to affect the vast majority of his people, but as something he could not do entirely with his personal resources, he had to venture into politics to realise his dream in greater dimensions.
Dr Nwoko said on many occasions, he (Ned Nwoko) was denied the opportunity until now that God has said yes.
Adding, he said, “The people of Delta North Senatorial District are fortunate to have Prince Ned Nwoko now in the Senate. The good aspect of his Senatorial journey is that he exemplifies compassion and embodies the passion for service.
“We expect a better coordinated and inclusive leadership going forward. He has the physical capacity, mental capability and financial wherewithal to sponsor any bill that can ultimately change the course of life of Nigerians, particularly our people of Anioma.
“On behalf of his entire political family, I most sincerely congratulate him on this feat that he has achieved. We are all happy for him, even as we are earnestly looking forward for the dividends of these desires to start trickling in”, Dr Nwoko stated.
