The police command in Delta says it has rescued a kidnapped male victim from the hands of suspected kidnappers in the State.
This was signed in a statement by DSP Bright Edafe,Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO) of the command.
Edafe said, “Police team of Agbarho Division were on patrol when they saw a grey colour Lexus 330 jeep with Reg No. KWL 841 BM, whose driver on noticing the police team drove off in a hurry”.
He further said that the team trailed the suspected Lexus Jeep to Sobotie Street, Agbarho where the car fell into a ditch and the suspects immediately scurried off into the bush leaving the car behind.
Upon the police’s arrival at the scene where the car was abandoned, one Mudia Efe of Abraka was found inside the car, Efe explained that he was kidnapped by the hoodlums from Abraka and the vehicle belongs to him.
Bright said that manhunt is currently ongoing for the fleeing suspects.
