Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and his Taraba State counterpart, Dr Agbu Kefas are expected as Special Guests of Honour at the 2024 Press Week Lecture and Award Ceremony of Delta Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.

According to a statement signed by Elder Barry Agbanigbi, Chairman of the Press Week Planning Committee, and the Secretary, Mrs. Oris Aniretan,
the ceremony is scheduled for Monday, December 30, 2024, at the NUJ Press Centre, Asaba, beginning at 11.00 a.m.

It said the Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, will be the Chairman of the Lecture and award ceremony co-chaired by a veteran journalist and an elder statesman, Chief Chris Biose.

It further added that a former member representing Oregon Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Patrick Obanyagbon, will deliver the keynote address while the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, will be the Royal Father of the day.
