Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central have pledged to deliver all party candidates (“six-over-six”) and ensure total victory for the party in the 2027 general elections, as Senator Ede Dafinone continued his consultation tour of Ethiope West and Sapele Local Government Areas on Sunday.

The consultations, which attracted party leaders, political stakeholders and supporters, focused on strengthening party unity, grassroots mobilisation and securing victory for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Dafinone and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

In Ethiope West, the APC Local Government Chairman, Hon. Clement Okorodide, described Dafinone’s visit as significant and a major step towards renewed political mobilisation, assuring that members of the party in the area remained united, committed and determined to deliver all APC candidates.

Former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Halims Agoda, expressed confidence that Ethiope West would produce one of the highest vote l for the APC in Delta State, saying party leaders were already looking forward to a thanksgiving celebration after victory.

Agoda also commended Dafinone for what he described as effective representation through lawmaking and constituency projects.

The Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Ejiro Etasherure, stressed the need for unity among party members, declaring that Ethiope West had no option but to work for a “six-over-six” victory.

Also speaking, former House of Representatives member, Rt. Hon. Ben Igbakpa, said Ethiope West had always demonstrated its political strength whenever its people were united. He commended Dafinone for engaging the people and pursuing the interests of his constituents with humility.

Chief Wilson Omene, a former chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Area, said elections required collective effort and should not be driven by individual ambitions alone.

He called on political leaders and party members across Delta Central to work together for the success of all APC candidates, while also urging continued support for President Bola Tinubu.

Dafinone subsequently proceeded to Sapele Local Government Area, where the former Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Kingsley Esiso, now an APC leader, led renewed calls for support for the senator and other APC candidates.

Describing Dafinone as a “Sapele boy,” Esiso said party leaders had made it clear that Delta Central must deliver all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

“We are in Sapele and this is Sapele. Our leaders have spoken. What they have said is simply that all of us must vote for APC six over six,” Esiso said, adding that Sapele people should support one of their own at the polls.

He also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as visible development and infrastructure across the state, while charging political appointees and party leaders to intensify grassroots mobilisation and justify their appointments by contributing to the party’s electoral success.

Responding, Dafinone thanked leaders and party members in both Ethiope West and Sapele for their support, expressing confidence that the APC would win all the positions being contested by the party in the 2027 general elections.

“All the positions of the All Progressives Congress will be successful in the election come 2027. Six over six,” the senator declared.

Dafinone also praised Oborevwori as a capacity and working governor.
The senator acknowledged the economic hardship facing Nigerians but appealed for patience with President Tinubu’s administration, arguing that the economic reforms being implemented were aimed at repositioning the country for long-term prosperity.

He further urged APC leaders and members to reach out to Nigerians who were not yet members of the party, engage them at the grassroots and persuade them to support the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

The Sapele meeting, held at the Sapele Local Government Council Secretariat, attracted prominent APC leaders and stakeholders from across Delta Central, including the Delta Central APC Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, and the member representing Sapele Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Perkins Umukoro.

The two consultations ended with renewed calls for unity, grassroots mobilisation and collective action, as APC leaders pledged to work together towards a “six-over-six” victory in Delta Central in 2027.
