The flag bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has reaffirmed his stand to consolidate on the laudable achievements of the present administration in education and all sectors of the state economy if elected as the next governor of the state.
Professor Soludo made the re-affirmation in an interview with journalists after the investiture of forty Anglican faithful into knighthood order of Saint Christopher at St. John’s Cathedral church, Ekwulobia.
This meduim reports that Professor Soludo described education as Anambra state’s number one industry and reiterated readiness to deepen education process and improve on all schools, both private, missionary and government owned.
The former Central Bank Boss, while explaining that a standard regulatory framework will be established to ensure quality assurance across all schools at all levels, assured to invest fully on human capital development as a key for more rapid development of the state.
He commended the role of the church in governance especially in Anambra state, describing them as very critical partners in all facets of development.
Earlier, the Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor charged the knights to be soldiers of Christ and desist from all odds that would contend against their faith.
The Anglican Prelate reminded the knights that as they are invested into the knighthood order, they should serve God with total submission and render acceptable service through good attitudes, behaviors and actions.
