*Sen. Aisha Al-Hassan is dead*
Former minister of women affairs, Sen. Aisha Al-Hassan popularly know as mama Taraba is dead. The politician was confirmed dead today (7th May 2021).
Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar took to his Instagram handle to share his grief, he wrote “I’m grieved by the death of former minister of women Affairs, Sen. Aisha Al-Hassan. I asked about her condition this afternoon after I called her number without a response….” .
Before her death, Sen. Aisha Al-Hassan resigned as the Minister of Women Affairs of Nigeria on 27th July, 2018. She was appointed as a cabinet member of President Muhammadu Buhari administration in 2015.
Her death cause has not been made public by her family.
