Two government workers Mr. Kenneth Ogadi and Mr. Felix Ikegwuonu living in the same compound at Okpoko, Onitsha in Anambra state have got quit notice for using knives to inflict injuries on their bodies.

An eye witness told Emerald News that the men were also colleagues in the same government owned office in Onitsha and as well neighbours in the same house.

Our source revealed that the two men have been known in the vicinity as cat and rat because of their constant engagement in quarrels and fights.

Emerald News learnt that their enmity also was extended to their wives and children as none of them were in talking terms before the recent fight.

Our source said that fight emanated when both of them were dragging to pass one entrance into the building.

The source stated that it was their neighbours  who came and separated the fight but before then, blood had started gushing out from their bodies.

When their boss in the office was contacted, they were reportedly given queries that ended up with a letter for them to vacate the house.

This medium gathered that the two men were living in a government storey building inside Okpoko, Onitsha.

The fighters have not been paying house rent for many years as they live in the apartments free of charge.
