There is battle at Lekki toll gate at the moment as members of the Nigeria army have killed a number of protesting youths at the toll gate. Lekki is one of the most beautiful city in Lagos, South West Nigeria.

The protest has been ongoing for over 10 days. Nigerian elites have called on President Buhari to address the nation on the issue of the protest but he has not done so.

Everybody in the country is angry at the issues in the nation. But rather than attend to the needs to of the protesting youths, soldiers were ordered to shoot and kill youths at the Lekki toll gate.

Reports are blaring on the social media of the killing of youths at the Lekki toll gate. Youths have occupied this gate for a number of days. On Tuesday, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu, declared a 24 hour curfew in Lagos, banning everyone not on essential duty from entering the streets.

But soldiers have shot a number of youths at Lekki, a wealthy suburb of Lagos.

According to livestreamers, the military men are currently shooting at #EndSARS protesters who are still at the gate, Reports say the soldiers switched off the lights so they can’t be filmed effectively
